Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Relationship Manager to join our Business Intelligence team at MassMutual. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in fostering strong connections with internal business areas, understanding their data needs, and supporting business leaders' ability to use data to drive results.

About the Role

The Relationship Manager will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with internal business partners, participating in business review meetings, and acting as a liaison between the business and the delivery team. You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities to optimize and influence customers' adoption of Business Intelligence solutions, providing training and support for ongoing education of BI products and services, and serving as an escalation point of contact for our business partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal business partners to understand their data needs and use this understanding to consult on business priorities.
  • Participate in business review meetings and 1:1s with key stakeholders to foster strong relationships, gain deeper insights into business partner needs, and align business intelligence initiatives with business strategies.
  • Act as a champion of BI tools/capabilities and identify opportunities to optimize and influence customers' adoption of BI solutions.
  • Provide training and support for ongoing education of BI products and services to drive a data-driven decision-making culture within the broader organization.
  • Serve as an escalation point of contact for our business partners.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of insurance industry experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Relationship Manager or similar role.
  • 5+ years of experience with business intelligence concepts and practices.
