We are seeking a passionate and compassionate Spanish-speaking Behavior Technician to join our team at Centria Autism. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans for children with autism, under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills to children with autism.
  • Work one-on-one with children, using patience and compassion to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
  • Provide support and guidance to families, empowering them to make a meaningful impact on their child's life.

Requirements:

  • Passionate about helping children with autism and committed to providing high-quality care.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and families.
  • 18+ years of age and high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test (if not already completed within the last year).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Bilingual in Spanish (required).
  • Candidates must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after completing onboarding.
