Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance personnel to ensure effective execution of maintenance tasks
  • Collaborate with production managers to schedule preventative maintenance activities and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Oversee the maintenance of injection molding, blow molding, and packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Interface with other departments to ensure customer deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
  • Monitor and analyze maintenance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize maintenance processes
  • Develop and manage maintenance budgets to ensure effective resource allocation
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our maintenance operations remain competitive and efficient

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a maintenance or similar manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a leadership or management role
  • Minimum 4 years of experience managing people and projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration or vocational studies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in a maintenance or similar manufacturing environment
  • 10+ years of experience in a leadership or management role
  • 6 years of experience managing people and projects
  • Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration or vocational studies

Competencies

  • Performs work under direct supervision
  • Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff
  • Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter
  • Strong verbal, writing, and presentation skills to communicate effectively with immediate team and peers
