Senior Accountant

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial management of Jobot as a Senior Accountant and play a pivotal role in the organization's financial operations.

  • Assist the Controller in all areas of finance and accounting operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, payroll processing, and tax preparation.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal policies.
  • Participate in the development and support of internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and report variances.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic financial forecasts.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
  • Support Controller with special projects and workflow process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Experience with creating financial statements.
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal direction.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
