Job Title: FPGA Design Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled FPGA Design Engineer to join our team in Northridge, CA or Redmond, WA. As a Sr. FPGA Engineer, you will be working on a low orbit satellite system with the goal of providing WIFI to remote parts of the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom FPGA register-transfer level code to implement encryption/decryption of data path including 3rd party IP Core integration.
  • Design hardware interface(s) to support integration of critical hardware used in gateway solution including modem assembly and antenna.
  • Work with Versal devices for the FPGA family and Xilinx as the manufacturer.
  • Familiar with AXI buses and RF SOCs (ultrascale plus).
  • Develop signal processing blocks (most modem type stuff would come from other groups for the ASICs).

Requirements:

  • Hardware design experience.
  • Antenna or satellite hardware design experience.
  • FPGA experience.
