Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry Unit

Humboldt Park Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Telemetry Unit. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the hospital's mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced RN with a strong background in telemetry nursing to work on our 12-bed Cardiac Telemetry Unit. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a passion for delivering outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiac conditions, including monitoring ECGs, analyzing vital signs, and administering medications as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care that promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in telemetry nursing.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, respect, and open communication among colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in telemetry nursing, preferably in an acute care setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
