Job Description:

Humboldt Park Health is seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse to join our team. As a registered nurse in this specialty, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care in the ICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and report patient vital signs and any changes in condition
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

Requirements:
• Current Illinois RN license
• 2+ years of experience in ICU or telemetry setting
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Salary and Benefits:
• Estimated annual salary: $85,000 - $110,000 depending on experience
• Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off

Work Schedule:
• 72 hours biweekly with guaranteed hours and flexibility to pick up extra shifts
• Rotating 12-hour day shifts, including every other weekend and holiday rotation
• May be required to float to tele or ED units as needed

Certifications and Training:
• AHA BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Meditech training provided during compliance

Covid-19 Vaccine Requirements:
COVID vaccination is required unless medical/religious declination is applicable
