Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Compliance Manager to join our team at Chick-fil-A Supply LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance across our distribution centers.
Key Responsibilities- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all federal, state, and local laws and regulations are met, including those related to food safety, general safety, quality specifications, and environmental regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with food safety, general safety, and quality specifications, and develop contingency plans to address potential issues.
- Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to team members on food safety requirements, regulatory compliance, and other relevant topics.
- Incident Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and accidents, and develop recommendations for improvement.
- Compliance and Risk Performance Metrics: Develop and track metrics to measure compliance and risk performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, with a strong background in food safety, general safety, and quality specifications.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of distribution standards, processes, systems, and contingencies; effective communication and presentation skills; ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a warehouse operations role, with a strong background in food distribution or manufacturing.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of FDA, DOT, FMCSA, EPA, and OSHA regulations; certifications such as HACCP, PCQI, CSP, and SQF.
10% travel required.
