Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at Precision Castparts Corp. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize production
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure effective execution of maintenance activities
  • Monitor and analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Communicate with operations teams to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities with production schedules

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in maintenance planning and coordination
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:

  • Constant exposure to indoor manufacturing environment
  • Constant exposure to moderate noise
  • Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes, odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise vibration, standing on concrete for long hours, and wet or uneven surfaces

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to thirty-five (35) pounds on a repetitive basis
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist, and work at heights on an intermittent basis for up to twelve (12) hours
  • Requires hand manipulation including simple grasping, pushing, and pulling of materials
  • Must be able to safety operate an overhead crane
  • Must be able to reach and work above and below the shoulder level
  • Must be able to work with and around forklifts and hazardous machinery
  • Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment
  • Visual acuity skill to detect any flaws in the parts being inspected
