Job Title: Controls Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team at Siza-Buso Consulting in Orlando, FL. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing control systems for large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop control systems from scratch, including hardware, software, and network components.
  • Develop electrical panel designs and perform power calculations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and select components for control systems.
  • Program and install control systems, ensuring timely and efficient commissioning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in electrical controls engineering.
  • Proficiency in drafting software, such as AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of contract documents and specifications.
  • Ability to collect and record field data accurately.
  • Experience with ride system design for attractions is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work off-shifts as needed.
