Position Summary

We are in search of a highly skilled Project Manager/Estimator with a track record of managing sophisticated residential projects. This role offers competitive compensation and the opportunity to work with a leading builder known for its innovative approach and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with the Superintendent.
  • Conduct constructibility assessments and collaborate with Estimators on various construction methodologies and site logistics.
  • Engage in pre-construction discussions with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
  • Ensure all necessary permits are obtained and maintained.
  • Foster positive relationships with all project participants.
  • Delegate responsibilities within the project team and ensure adherence to contract specifications.
  • Facilitate effective communication and conflict resolution among project stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company protocols and leverage technology effectively.
  • Manage Change Order Requests and update Job Cost Budgets accordingly.
  • Oversee accurate cost reporting and quantity assessments for self-performed work.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive Project Status Reports, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Regularly monitor construction progress and conduct meetings with subcontractors.
  • Evaluate subcontractor performance and address any issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with design professionals regarding plan modifications and value engineering.
  • Analyze project plans for cost-saving recommendations.
  • Develop and refine policies for the estimating department.
  • Coordinate all plan changes and manage documentation updates.
  • Create and maintain estimating tools and data collection methods.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
  • Extensive experience in document management and project scheduling.
