Role Overview:

The Construction Project Coordinator is responsible for managing all facets of construction projects, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints, labor management, and timely delivery of high-quality outcomes that surpass client expectations. This role demands ownership and accountability for project success, aligning with the company’s core values and leading by example.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation of HVAC and Plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project timelines.
  • Establish job costing systems that accurately reflect labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses.
  • Negotiate and prepare purchase orders for vendors and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
  • Conduct regular financial reviews and progress reports to identify and address deviations from project plans promptly.
  • Foster strong relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and mentor field personnel, including workers, foremen, and superintendents.
  • Promote a safe working environment through regular safety meetings and incident investigations.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a 4-year degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience in commercial HVAC and Plumbing. A minimum of 5 years of verifiable project management experience with a mechanical subcontractor, particularly in commercial projects valued between $5M and $10M, is required. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment are essential.

Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel may be necessary, exceeding 10%.
