Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Analyst to join our Finance team at Tesla. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing key performance indicators, providing strategic insights, and guiding planning and resource management for specific verticals within Tesla.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze key performance indicators, including revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses, and capital expenditures
  • Develop financial models and decision-making tools to inform business decisions
  • Provide strategic insights and conclusions based on analysis
  • Guide planning and resource management for specific verticals within Tesla
  • Identify initiatives for improvement of Tesla's financial outlook
Requirements
  • Evidence of exceptional ability, especially within an ambiguous environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, or equivalent professional experience
  • Ability to read and interpret financial statements recommended
  • Quantitative degrees are a plus
  • Demonstrated success driving tangible impact/influencing within a broader organization
  • Excellent analytical skills, including Microsoft Office applications and financial modeling
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with senior business leaders
  • Highly collaborative, team-oriented, and comfortable leading cross-functional projects
