Bienvivir All-Inclusive Senior Health is seeking a compassionate and reliable Daycare Escort to join our team. As a Daycare Escort, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our frail elderly participants during medical appointments.
Responsibilities:- Accompany participants to medical specialty appointments and oversee their safety during these visits.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed while at the appointment.
- Communicate appointment-related information to the Floor Manager and Clinic Participant Manager.
- Maintain a folder with a personal list of scheduled appointments.
- Clock in/out on time at assigned centers and report any time-keeping issues to the Floor Manager.
- Ensure participants have their snack/lunches identified and verified on the Appointment Matrix.
- Attend monthly Center Staff Meetings, annual Skills Fair, and other mandatory meetings/trainings.
- Maintain necessary equipment and supplies for appointment Escort duties.
- Report to the Floor Manager daily for assignments and drive from center to the participant's appointment(s) in own vehicle.
- Contact the Clinic Participant Manager and Floor Manager in case of participant emergencies.
- Assist center floor operations as assigned by the Floor Manager.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Texas preferred.
- Minimum one year experience caring for the frail elderly.
- CPR certified and current Food Handler's Card required.
- Bilingual preferred (English / Spanish).
- Reliable transportation with valid Texas Driver's License and current proof of insurance.
- Required to attend twelve hours of in-service training per year.
- Must attend Annual Skills Fair to ensure all position competencies are current and demonstrated.
- Will maintain current all immunizations, as required by Bienvivir Human Resources and Infection Control policies.
