Job Summary:

The Hydro Blast Technician will perform a variety of physical tasks that require strength and flexibility, including handling and manipulating equipment and materials, emergency response, and high-pressure water blasting.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and set up cleaning equipment, including high-pressure pumps and vacuum trucks, in accordance with safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including the use of personal protective gear.
  • Work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and industrial settings.
  • Manually clean and repair equipment, including valves, hoses, and pumps.
  • Assist in the inspection of equipment and work areas prior to starting a job, and inform supervisors of any deficiencies that may cause accidents or injuries.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license or state-issued ID.
  • Valid TWIC card.
  • Ability to pass a hair follicle and urine drug screen.
  • Basic safety training skills.
  • Experience with hydro blasting or pressure cleaning is preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned.
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Physically capable of standing and/or walking continuously for long periods of time.
  • Physically capable of climbing, balancing, bending, and kneeling.
