Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at The Laurels of Kent. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our guests, working under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.

Responsibilities
  • Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
  • Measure and record height and weight, intake and output.
  • Care for the guests' environment, ensuring a clean and safe living space.
  • Assist with bathing, grooming, and toileting, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Assist with eating and hydration, ensuring guests' nutritional needs are met.
  • Observe guests' skin and report any changes to licensed nurses, providing skin care as needed.
  • Meet guests' mental health and social service needs, promoting emotional well-being.
Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • CNA certification or acceptable exemption required.
