Job Overview

The Clinical Specialist plays a crucial role in providing training to the surgical team on the safe and effective use of medical devices. This position requires a strong understanding of minimally invasive spine procedures and the ability to develop technical acumen to serve as an educational and clinical resource.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical case coverage as assigned
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives
  • Train the surgical team to assist in good patient outcomes and verbally support cases during the training period
  • Maintain and prepare equipment/kits for surgery and quality control audits

Requirements:

  • Experience in minimally invasive spine procedures utilizing fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI is required
  • Customer relationship and procedural skill development experience
  • High School Diploma or GED or Associate's Degree with a minimum 4 years in a clinical specialist or related medical role, preferably in a medical device company; or
  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years in a clinical specialist or related medical role, preferably in a medical device company
  • Location: Ideal candidate will reside within 40 miles of Sacramento
  • Travel - 20% with 1-2 nights per week in a hotel, on average

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base $90k+ $20k Variable Bonus at plan (Paid out quarterly) - Total $110k OTE
  • Travel expenses covered
  • Car allowance $700/mo plus gas or straight mileage options
