Position Overview:

This role is essential in delivering high-quality nursing care in accordance with established standards, protocols, and personalized care plans for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate in developing individualized care plans for residents in the designated area.
2. Administer nursing care as per physician directives and regulatory requirements.
3. Regularly review and update care plans as necessary.
4. Monitor and document resident conditions and care provided, ensuring accurate use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
5. Ensure timely communication with physicians regarding resident status and care orders.
6. Respond swiftly to resident requests and provide education to residents and their families regarding care and condition changes.
7. Maintain proper handling and disposal of linens and other materials in compliance with health regulations.
8. Adhere to standard precautions and utilize personal protective equipment while ensuring hand hygiene between resident interactions.
9. Report and follow up on any signs or symptoms of infections in residents.

Accountability:
This position requires adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, as well as fulfilling obligations under the corporate compliance program.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.

Licensure and Certification:
Must possess a valid nursing license for the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge:
Familiarity with the therapeutic effects and potential side effects of medications administered.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
The physical demands of this role include operating various tools and equipment, effective communication, and the ability to maintain a stationary position or move as necessary.

Work Environment:
The work environment typically has a moderate noise level, with travel requirements varying based on business needs.

Weight Lifting Requirement:
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
