Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Montessori Toddler Teacher to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. As a Montessori Lead Guide, you will create and lead a model classroom, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes independence, self-directed learning, and social responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students
  • Establish a positive and respectful classroom environment that encourages collaboration and mutual respect
  • Monitor student progress, providing individualized support and feedback to ensure optimal learning outcomes
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote academic excellence and social responsibility
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in Montessori education

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and at least 18 years of age
  • Interest in free training to become Montessori certified, or currently have a 3-6 diploma
  • Experience working with children in a group setting, such as a preschool, daycare, childcare, nursery, or Reggio Emilia center
  • Ability to create a safe and supportive environment that promotes independence and self-directed learning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and students
