Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled RR Equipment Repair Specialist to join our team at SEPTA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing track equipment and air tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex track equipment and air tools
  • Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with shop personnel to resolve equipment issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years of technical school or related experience preferred
  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic theory
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain CDL Class A permit within 90 days
