Job Title: Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant

Job Summary: SSM Health is seeking a highly skilled Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant to join our team in Columbia, Illinois. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough medical histories, perform physical examinations, and develop treatment plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to provide evidence-based care

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field
  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
  • 2+ years of experience in family medicine or primary care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
