Job Summary

As a Transportation Management Coordinator with the Army National Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth movement of personnel and equipment. You will utilize your organizational skills to schedule and coordinate transportation, utilizing your knowledge of motor vehicles, aircraft, and ocean liner vessels to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

In this role, you will be responsible for advising constituents of shipment and travel entitlements, requesting and coordinating transport capability, and marking, documenting, and inventorying freight, cargo, and material shipments. You will also operate automated data terminal equipment and arrange documentation and reports for follow-up and tracer actions.

Key Responsibilities

Perform system administrator duties, including installing software and uploading data to computer systems

Prepare equipment, cargo, and personnel for travel to airports, seaports, and railways

Request and coordinate transportation to meet a movement mission

Requirements

Must be between the ages of 17 and 35

Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards

Must meet citizenship requirements (see NATIONALGUARD.com for details)
