Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement personalized diet plans for patients and residents, in collaboration with healthcare providers.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' nutritional needs and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on healthy eating habits and nutrition-related topics.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in nutrition and dietetics.
- Current State of Florida license as a dietitian.
- Registration or eligibility with the CDR of the American Dietetic Association.
- BS in clinical dietetics or foods/nutrition; plus, one-year internship or equivalent, or master's degree required.
- Minimum of one-year clinical dietetics experience preferred.
- Skilled Nursing and IRF experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write and understand the English language.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 250+ pounds, walk, climb stair or ladders, stand on feet for extended periods of time, etc.
