PrideNow is seeking an experienced Environmental Specialist to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role.
We are looking for someone with strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working on water and wastewater treatment projects.
As an Environmental Specialist at PrideNow, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from designing new water and sewer systems to reviewing and signing off on designs.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all designs comply with federal, state, and local regulations, and for providing technical guidance and training to junior staff members.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering, and 10 years of related experience. A professional engineering license is also required.
Key Responsibilities- Create and sign off on basic to moderately complex designs involving water and wastewater treatment facilities, water and sewer systems, pipelines, and/or pump stations.
- Review draft designs and reports for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff members.
- Collaborate with sales staff to create proposals in response to client requests for proposal (RFPs).
- Meet with clients to review their current and future design needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
- Professional engineering (PE) license.
- 10 years of related experience.
- Strong knowledge of computer assisted design and drafting (CADD) software and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
