We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team in a full-time, onsite position. The successful candidate will work with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade, providing specialized instruction and support to meet their individual learning needs.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
- Provide direct instruction to students in both individual and small group settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure the best educational outcomes for students
- Adapt and modify curriculum and instructional strategies to meet the needs of students with disabilities
- Monitor student progress and make necessary adjustments to IEPs
- Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Active Minnesota Teaching License with an endorsement in Special Education
- Full-time position
- 40 hours per week
- Onsite only
- Caseload: 20-28 students, Kindergarten through 12th grade
