Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Commercial Driver to join our team. As a Commercial Driver with Hazmat Endorsement and Material Handling Responsibilities, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up freight from specified customer locations, as well as performing material handling duties in our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and pick up freight from specified customer locations, such as warehouses, retail stores, dealerships, and small businesses.
  • Perform material handling duties in our warehouse, including pulling orders, loading and unloading trucks, and loading batteries for customers.
  • Verify freight with shipping papers and maintain a Driver's Daily log according to Federal regulations.
  • Inspect the vehicle for mechanical and safety defects before and after each trip and submit a report indicating the vehicle condition.
  • Interact with customers when delivering or receiving freight or collecting payment for goods delivered.
Requirements:
  • Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with Endorsements for Air Brakes and Hazmat.
  • Literate with good communication and math skills.
  • Forklift experience required on both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
