MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE
As the Supply Chain Associate Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and communicating the inbound product availability across various markets, including China, Hong Kong, and Korea, sourced from our primary distribution center in Asia. Your responsibilities will encompass providing thorough updates and follow-ups on market requirements, ensuring timely product replenishment, and managing critical program availability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Foster a collaborative relationship with market teams and the Singapore Supply Planner to meet forecasted demands.
- Identify, escalate, and resolve any discrepancies in requirements with internal operations partners.
- Analyze inventory levels at both main and local distribution centers to allocate products effectively to manufacturers.
- Ensure timely delivery of critical promotions and product launches while maintaining clear communication.
- Lead monthly supply meetings as the representative of HQ Supply Operations to provide essential updates on stock availability.
- Deliver weekly service updates for Singapore and associated markets.
- Collaborate with logistics to guarantee timely shipment deliveries.
- Continuously enhance reporting and communication processes for the markets.
- Support additional analytical tasks within the Supply Chain and Inventory function as required.
LEARNING AND ACHIEVEMENTS
In your first six months, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of LVMH's strategic objectives and the complexities of a global supply chain. You will enhance your market knowledge and develop strategies in a competitive environment while building strong cross-functional partnerships.
By the end of your first year, you will have established yourself as the voice of HQ Operations, providing critical guidance on production requirements and collaborating closely with key stakeholders to ensure market success.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, mathematics, advanced statistics, economics, operations research, or computer science.
3-4 years of experience in global supply chain management.
Prior experience in a global supply chain environment is essential.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable objectives.
Proactive communication skills and attention to detail are crucial.
Experience with Asian markets is highly valued.
Professional written and verbal communication skills are required.
Experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
