Job Description

Our organization, BJC Behavioral Health, is seeking a Clubhouse Rehabilitation Specialist to provide direct support services to individuals diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness. As a key member of our team, you will promote the Clubhouse Model of Psychiatric Rehabilitation while fostering a supportive community environment.

About Us

BJC Behavioral Health serves as a major point of entry for people eligible for mental health services funded by the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH). We offer comprehensive behavioral health services to over 8,000 seriously mentally ill adults and children in St. Louis City, County, and surrounding areas.

Role Purpose

The Clubhouse Rehabilitation Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Managing Clubhouse Units, overseeing daily unit work, and applying Clubhouse Standards
  • Creatively encouraging members to participate in their rehabilitation through meaningful activities
  • Planning and participating in Evening, Weekend, and Holiday programs
  • Actively engaging in fundraising efforts and outreach to members
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field
  • No prior experience required, but a Class E Driver's License in MO is necessary

Compensation

We offer an estimated salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
