Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at ProSmile. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the dental team in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists and hygienists in rendering patient care, including chairside support and maintaining inventory control.
  • Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Deliver outstanding patient interactions, including scheduling, follow-up treatment, and record-keeping.
  • Perform basic lab procedures, such as taking impressions, pouring models, and preparing cases for external labs.
  • Maintain public area appearance and perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Easily able to learn new technologies and systems required, with a demonstrated desire to learn.
  • Applicable licensing required for the state in which you will work, including Dental Radiologic Technologist (DRT) license for NJ, MD, and PA, and Radiation Health and Safety certificate for PA.
  • Certified Dental Assistant certificate preferred.
  • 1+ years of work experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Requires some flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Work Environment

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and using hands and arms to operate general office equipment. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move between 10 and 25 pounds.
