Job Summary

BridgePoint Associates is seeking a skilled Case Manager to join our team in New York City. As a Case Manager, you will work closely with clients at risk of homelessness and housing instability, providing direct services and support to help them achieve stability and self-sufficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct intakes and assessments to determine program eligibility and develop service plans for clients
  • Provide counseling, advocacy, and exit summaries to support clients in achieving their goals
  • Assess risk and housing crisis levels, and develop strategies to address these challenges
  • Collaborate with clients to complete personal budgets and gather necessary documentation
  • Attend training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field
  • One year of relevant work experience preferred, but new and recent graduates will be considered
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work face-to-face with clients and travel in NYC for inspections
  • Technological savvy and knowledge of NYC housing subsidies and housing court a plus
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish, French, or West African languages a plus
