Clinical Nutrition Specialist

Overview:
Blue Ridge Community Health Services is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to provide medical nutrition services and nutrition counseling in a primary care practice setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the nutritional status of individuals and provide personalized nutrition counseling and consulting services.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective nutrition plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific research and guidelines to ensure evidence-based practice.
- Develop and conduct nutrition education programs for various audiences and at all Blue Ridge Community Health Services sites.
- Support the organization's mission and quality goals, providing safe and patient-centered care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current registration as a Registered Dietitian through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- One to two years of supervised experience working as a Registered Dietitian, preferably in an ambulatory care setting.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.
