Physiotherapist - Medical Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Summa Health System. As a key member of our rehabilitation services team, you will be responsible for evaluating patients, establishing treatment plans, and administering medically prescribed physical therapy programs.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients to determine the extent of their physical disabilities and create personalized treatment plans.
- Administer physical therapy programs in accordance with professional guidelines and Summa Health System requirements.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote independence and self-care.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
- Current licensure to practice physical therapy in the State of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
- Ability to effectively interact with patients and their families, demonstrating empathy and compassion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Board certification in clinical specialty areas.
- Advanced degrees in healthcare field.
Working Conditions:
This position requires frequent squatting, climbing stairs, bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, sitting, standing, and remaining in uncomfortable positions for prolonged periods.
