Adventist HealthCare is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in the Radiology department. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing CT examinations in accordance with established protocols, demonstrating proficiency in operating CT-scanner and ancillary equipment, and understanding the principles and dangers involved in the administration of oral and intravenous contrast.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT examinations in accordance with established protocols
  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating CT-scanner and ancillary equipment
  • Understand the principles and dangers involved in the administration of oral and intravenous contrast
  • Identify contraindications to IV contrast administration and recognize symptoms of IV contrast reactions
  • Properly identify patients, review orders, and select scanning protocols to maximize quality and safe patient care in CT
  • Perform diagnostic x-rays in accordance with established protocol, including portable exams when indicated
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an AMA/JRCERT accredited school of radiography
  • ARRT certification (RT) or ARRT CT advanced certification (CT)
  • Active Maryland license required
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Work Schedule:

Every Friday and Saturday night shift, 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., and every Sunday evening, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
