About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Services Technician to join our Data Center Solutions team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for commissioning and providing after-sales service for our custom computer room air handling units (CRAHU) in the data center industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commission and test CRAHU systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data center customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in HVAC and mechanical systems
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED certificate
  • Strong understanding of basic electrical and control systems, as well as HVAC and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read, understand, and work from mechanical drawings
  • Valid passport and driver's license
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift 40lbs and work at heights
  • Experience working in industrial, manufacturing facilities, and/or field environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Registered refrigeration/HVAC tech, controls tech, Electrician Journeyman, or related tradesperson
  • Experience working in highly sensitive and/or mission-critical facilities
