Job Title: Program Manager

Fincantieri Marine Group is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to join our team in Marinette, Wisconsin. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of ship design and construction programs, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of program staff to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain management control systems to ensure compliance with contract specifications and company policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of manufacturing and construction plans, and provide technical support to operations staff.
  • Coordinate with contracts, subcontracts, corporate accounting, and human resource staffs to assess the impact of contract change notices and engineering change proposals.
  • Develop and maintain Earned Value Management (EVMS) systems to track project progress and identify potential risks.
  • Prepare and present reports to management on project status, including completion cost estimates, projections on funding, and other planned reports.
  • Monitor performance to contract, oversee contract compliance, and negotiate contract change proposals with customers.
  • Act as a point-of-contact for customers and be responsible for customer-contractor relations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of progressive responsibility in administration, management control, and/or accounting of technical/professional services in the shipbuilding industry or an equivalent manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of marine systems, including structural, outfitting, machinery, hydraulics, electrical, mechanical, electronics, HVAC, etc.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
