Job SummaryAt Washington Center for Dentistry, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

  • Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and lab cases.

  • Take and develop dental X-rays, apply topical anesthetics, and take impressions for study models.

  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and preventive measures.

  • Update and maintain accurate patient records, including medical and dental histories.

 

Requirements:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Previous experience as a dental assistant or in a related field preferred.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
