Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team at ProMedica. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for providing and interpreting evaluations for hearing and balance disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnostic evaluations, treatment, and interpretation for auditory disorders
  • Perform all modalities of evoked potentials and provide interpretation of BAER studies
  • Interpret vestibular studies (ECOG/VEMP) and provide formal reports to referring physicians
  • Provide referrals to other allied health professionals as deemed necessary
  • Recommend further testing or treatment as needed
  • Counsel patients regarding test results, referrals, and recommendations
  • Participate in staff meetings and conferences concerning Audiology
  • Assist in the selection of supplies, materials, and equipment for the Audiology section
  • Assist in establishing goals, procedures, and services within the section
  • Participate in the development of new programs
  • Conduct in-service training programs for other audiologists and staff members
  • Supervise audiology doctoral students as necessary
  • Act as a resource for patients, other medical professionals, and area audiologists for referrals, recommendations, and advice on hearing and balance needs
Requirements
  • Education: Master's Degree/Au.D. in Audiology
  • Skills: Diagnostic equipment knowledge corresponding with above-listed procedures, Word, Excel
  • Years of Experience: 1 year of clinical experience
  • License: State of Ohio
  • Certification: BLS
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Au.D. in Audiology
  • Skills: Diagnostic equipment knowledge corresponding with above-listed procedures, EPIC, NOAH, Verifit
  • Years of Experience: 2 years of clinical experience
  • Certification: ASHA- for supervision of doctoral students
