Key Responsibilities:- Manage and organize case files throughout all prelitigation stages.
- Engage with clients through in-person meetings and phone communications.
- Ensure timely updates and follow-ups with clients, attorneys, and medical professionals.
- Accurately document and confirm all case activities.
- Gather medical records, finalize reports, track liens, and verify account balances.
- Prepare comprehensive demand packages for attorney assessment.
- Draft settlement statements for attorney review.
- Conduct file status evaluations.
- Complete all tasks related to file initiation and closure.
- Compose and dispatch correspondence as necessary.
- Efficiently process daily case-related scans and mail.
- Provide phone coverage support as required.
- Conduct investigative tasks as directed by the supervising attorney.
- Proven experience managing all phases of personal injury cases.
- Fluency in Spanish is essential.
- A minimum of three years of continuous experience as a personal injury paralegal is required.
- Experience in reviewing and documenting medical records.
- An Associate's degree in legal studies or paralegal certification is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills for client interactions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- A genuine commitment to client service.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach.
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently.
- Proficient in various software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Adobe; experience with legal software is a plus.
