Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and organize case files throughout all prelitigation stages.
  • Engage with clients through in-person meetings and phone communications.
  • Ensure timely updates and follow-ups with clients, attorneys, and medical professionals.
  • Accurately document and confirm all case activities.
  • Gather medical records, finalize reports, track liens, and verify account balances.
  • Prepare comprehensive demand packages for attorney assessment.
  • Draft settlement statements for attorney review.
  • Conduct file status evaluations.
  • Complete all tasks related to file initiation and closure.
  • Compose and dispatch correspondence as necessary.
  • Efficiently process daily case-related scans and mail.
  • Provide phone coverage support as required.
  • Conduct investigative tasks as directed by the supervising attorney.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience managing all phases of personal injury cases.
  • Fluency in Spanish is essential.
  • A minimum of three years of continuous experience as a personal injury paralegal is required.
  • Experience in reviewing and documenting medical records.
  • An Associate's degree in legal studies or paralegal certification is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for client interactions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A genuine commitment to client service.
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach.
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently.
  • Proficient in various software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Adobe; experience with legal software is a plus.
