Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and store all food items in accordance with facility protocols and safe food handling practices
  • Assist with meal preparation as directed by the supervisor
  • Prepare food items following standardized recipes while ensuring safe food handling
  • Support the setup of the food tray line
  • Assemble dietary trays and deliver tray carts to dining areas or designated units
  • Clean dishes, utensils, and equipment following facility guidelines
  • Participate in dishwashing operations and general cleaning tasks

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Preferably one year of experience in a food service role within an institutional setting
