Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test and Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Leidos, Inc. in Sacramento, CA. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) U-2 System Project Office to ensure the integration, test, and evaluation of new or modified avionics, payloads, and sensors for the U-2 Dragon Lady.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) to develop data management plans and quality control plans for test data.
  • Provide input into testing and evaluation planning and reporting documents.
  • Conduct background research to determine testability of Critical Operational Issues and Criteria (COIC).
  • Analyze and evaluate test plans, including identifying test support requirements and preparing input for cost estimates.
  • Ensure test members are trained in test design and data collection techniques.
  • Develop accurate and comprehensive test reporting documents.
  • Prepare briefing documents and respond to inquiries from other organizations.
Requirements
  • A BS degree and 12 to 15 years of prior relevant experience or a Master's degree with 10 to 13 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Experience working on military aircraft avionics systems, subsystems, and required support systems or equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate with senior leadership.
  • An in-depth understanding of technical testing and quality assurance principles.
  • Ability to lead and manage works of other technical staff.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in U.S. Air Force test processes.
  • Experience with AFLCMC U-2 System Project Office.
