About the Role

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team in Darien, Illinois.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional, highly technical nursing care to cardiovascular patients
  • Assist physicians during procedures, maintaining a secure and safe environment
  • Participate in in-services, continuing education, and workshops to stay up-to-date on new procedures and technologies
  • Maintain quality control in all areas of the lab
Requirements
  • Typically requires 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in PTCA, EPS preferred
  • AAS in RTR, or RTN license, or a minimum of 5 years of experience as RTR or RTN
  • Minimum of 12 CEU hours per year
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to anticipate patient and unit needs
  • Current License in the state of IL as a RTR, RTN, or RCVT
  • ACLS, IABP, RCIS within two years of employment
