Job Summary

Cabarrus Health Alliance is seeking a highly skilled Nursing Supervisor to lead the creation and direction of Adult Primary Care services. This exciting new position will shape and lead adult primary care efforts, working in partnership with clinical providers and other members of the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and medication reconciliation
  • Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
  • Answer and triage telephone calls from patients
  • Participate in establishing overall goals and operational plans for the program, including staffing
  • Plan work assignments and supervise staff in adult primary care
  • Assess patient access needs and adjust clinic offerings accordingly
  • Establish and implement work standards, policies, and procedures with the Medical Director and Nursing Directors
Requirements
  • Graduation from a baccalaureate program in nursing and 3 years' experience in a public health or primary care setting
  • Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina and a valid North Carolina driver's license
