Position Overview

As a full-time Radiology Appointment Coordinator, your schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Your primary responsibility will be to accurately arrange diagnostic tests and procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and physician preferences. You will collaborate closely with the clinical team to ensure a seamless service experience by effectively managing patient appointments and healthcare resources. When necessary, you will conduct patient interviews and oversee the admission process, ensuring that all required information is collected, records are maintained accurately, and patients are well-informed about hospital policies and procedures.

What qualifications are necessary? A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Is prior experience needed? A minimum of one year in a healthcare administrative role, including front office, admissions, or scheduling experience is essential. Experience in Radiology or Cath Lab scheduling is preferred.

Key Skills and Competencies: Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, along with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A basic understanding of medical office terminology is necessary. Proficiency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and data entry is required.
