Your Role
As a Security Systems Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in crafting tailored technical solutions that align with client specifications and project demands. This position acts as an internal expert in physical security technology, supporting project managers and systems designers. You will also contribute to the enhancement of ZBETA's engineering and technical consulting methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design: Develop, revise, and verify design and engineering documentation, including plans, diagrams, and programming matrices.
- Technical Analysis: Perform technical evaluations, such as voltage drop calculations and equipment layout assessments.
- Product Research: Engage in ongoing education regarding physical security systems and conduct comparative technology assessments.
- Troubleshooting: Address client and project-related issues concerning applicable codes and standards.
- Quality Assurance: Assist in system testing and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Project Management: Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of design solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in security system design or related technology.
- Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Lenel security systems is required; familiarity with Genetec and C•CURE is advantageous.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
