Position Overview:
The Senior Security Specialist plays a crucial role within the ATI Business Services team, directly contributing to the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate facility security operations by implementing the relevant requirements of 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) along with associated U.S. Government security standards.
- Manage Sub-Contractor activities by generating and issuing DD254s under ATI's OTA model to ensure adherence to government regulations.
- Facilitate personnel security clearance processes, ensuring that cleared personnel receive effective training initially and on a regular basis.
- Provide security orientation for new hires and transfers, covering aspects such as badging, clearance protocols, fingerprinting, reporting obligations, terminations, and debriefings.
- Prepare for and assist with government inspections, reviews, and audits of the security program, addressing any resulting action items while maintaining clear communication with leadership.
- Administer and enforce compliance with company and government regulations, policies, and procedures regarding the safeguarding of proprietary, sensitive, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), and classified data.
- Offer security guidance and support to colleagues across the organization.
- Familiarity with Defense Information System for Security (DISS), National Background Investigation Services (NBIS), National Industrial Security System (NISS), Security Information Management System (SIMS), Army Centralized Contracts and Security (ACCS) Portal, and Electronic Application (eAPP) is advantageous.
- Assist in the formulation and revision of security plans, procedures, and guidelines, recommending changes to the Facility Security Officer (FSO).
- Support the FSO in conducting regular security audits and inspections, applying risk mitigation strategies, and implementing security measures.
Additional Duties:

Qualifications:
- Certification as a CDSE FSO for Possessing Facilities.
- Possession of an active U.S. Government security clearance, with the ability to attain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
- A minimum of 5 years of industrial security experience as a cleared defense contractor within the National Industrial Security Program.
- IAM/IAT Security Certification is a plus.
- A Bachelor's degree in security or a related field is required.
- Experience with COMSEC and RMF is beneficial.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and capable of obtaining and maintaining a Department of Defense security clearance.
- This position is subject to a background check, including a review of criminal records, with consideration given to the nature of any prior convictions in relation to job responsibilities.
