Nurse Leader

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Charge Nurse II to join our Brain Health Unit team at Levindale Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leadership to our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and effective patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Lead and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams, fostering a culture of compassion, respect, and open communication.
- Current Maryland Registered Nurse License
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification for application to telemetry
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in critical care and leadership
