We are seeking a skilled and experienced Charge Nurse II to join our Brain Health Unit team at Levindale Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leadership to our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Lead and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams, promoting open communication and collaboration to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current Maryland Registered Nurse License
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification for application to telemetry
  • 1-3 years of experience in acute care nursing, with a focus on leadership and mentorship
