We're looking for a talented Sports Bar Host/Hostess to join our team at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course. As a key member of our hospitality team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with a warm smile and a friendly demeanor.
  • Maintain open communication with servers and inform them when a table in their section has been seated.
  • Answer telephones and take reservations as needed.
  • Verify reservations and seat guests accordingly.
  • Advise guests of waiting times and recommend beverage outlets.
  • Responsible for seating guests according to established rotation procedures and explaining daily features.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve them quickly and courteously.
  • Keep work areas neat and clean in accordance with all PA Department of Health standards.
  • Participate as a team member with all servers, barbacks, and other casino personnel to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to operate a POS system.
  • Ability to obtain RAMP certification.
