Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team at Circle of Care Pediatric Home Health. As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, you will assist the licensed Speech Language Pathologist in providing speech therapy services to patients of all ages with communication and swallowing disorders within a home health setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the evaluation and treatment of pediatric patients (birth to age 20) with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
  • Implement therapy plans developed by the licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support patient progress.
  • Document patient progress accurately and communicate updates to the licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Provide ongoing feedback regarding patient performance to the licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Participate in team meetings to review patient progress and collaborate on treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on communication and swallowing disorders, therapy goals, and home exercises.
