Human Resource Generalist
A manufacturing organization is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to enhance their workforce. This role presents opportunities for advancement within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will plan and implement policies related to various human resources functions, including Recruiting/Onboarding, Benefits Administration, and Training Programs.
This position offers a direct hire opportunity with a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000, commensurate with experience, along with comprehensive benefits.
The HR Generalist will:
- Identify and ensure compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of Employee Training Programs.
- Support the recruitment process by interviewing and assessing candidates for open positions.
- Facilitate new employee orientation to promote a positive workplace culture.
- Maintain records related to benefits participation, personnel transactions, and employee statistics for reporting purposes.
- Coordinate training for management on interviewing, hiring, terminations, and performance reviews.
- Address employee inquiries regarding insurance and benefits.
- Advise management on resolving employee relations issues and respond to policy inquiries.
- Support the HR Manager in administering performance review and salary administration programs to ensure fairness and compliance.
- Manage benefits programs, including health, dental, and disability insurances, as well as vacation and leave policies.
- Oversee documentation related to disciplinary actions and maintain records of probationary periods.
- Assist in investigating workplace incidents and prepare necessary reports for insurance and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct wage surveys to ensure competitive compensation.
- Process and maintain enrollment documentation for benefits, coordinating with managers and employees.
- Prepare budgets for human resources operations and employee separation documentation.
- Represent the organization in personnel-related hearings and investigations.
- Assist with documentation for foreign national visa applications.
- Engage with external suppliers for employee services, including health testing and background checks.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and maintain confidentiality of all employee records.
